LETTER RECEIVED FROM DAVE HODGSON, COUNCILLOR, WARD 2

From: Dave Hodgson & The Burnt River Friends of the Library Committee

It is with great pleasure that I announce that a decision has been made by the Kawartha Lakes Library Board NOT to close the Burnt River Library. In fact no libraries will be closed in the library system. This is great news for those of us who appreciate the benefits of literacy and the convenience of the local library to fulfill those needs.

I cannot express how thankful I am to the support I received from the members of the Four Mile Lake Cottagers Association; without your emails and petitions I am sure that our message would not have been given the necessary weight to force this decision. It is truly amazing what can be accomplished when a community works together.

Thanks again
