By the numbers:

• Average "Ice Out" Date since 1993 = April 14th

• Average Ice "First Freeze" Date since 1992 = December 16th

• Average # Ice Days since 1992 = 119, min # days=86, max # days=157

Note: ice must remain frozen for 3 consecutive days following freeze date; for ice-out date, all cottages must be able to get a boat out and drive perimeter of the lake)
