Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Four Mile Lake Association Annual General Meeting. This year's meeting included updates on the Association's financial position, 2026 events, membership survey results, water quality monitoring, Board activities, and priorities for the year ahead. Results from FMLA survey July 2026
We asked, you answered - 36 responses received. Here is a summary of all of the results: 1. Membership The vast majority of respondents are current FMLA members, with many having been members for 15–30+ years, and several since the association was first established. Only one respondent indicated they were not currently a member. 2. What should FMLA focus on? Members identified lake health and environmental protection as the Association's highest priorities. FOCA Lake Data Report July 2026
Four Mile Lake has been monitored by Lake Partners from 2003 to 2025. During this time, water samples were collected monthly for total phosphorus levels and water clarity. Water clarity is sampled using a Secchi disk. Calcium, chloride, and sulphate were included in the Lake Partner Program (LPP) in 2008 and 2015, respectively, and were sampled monthly along with total phosphorus. View the full report:
