Thank you to everyone who joined us at this year’s Four Mile Lake Association Annual General Meeting on June 22, 2025, at the Burnt River Community Centre. Whether you were able to attend in person or not, we appreciate your ongoing support and engagement with our lake community.

We’d also like to extend a warm welcome to the reaffirmed FMLA Board of Directors for the upcoming year. A big thank you to our volunteers, members, and sponsors who continue to help make our association strong and active.

Quick Highlights:

• Quorum met with 68 members represented (39 in-person + 29 by proxy)

• Ray will remain as Board Chair, with a Co-Chair to be named at the next board meeting

• Transition to Stripe payment gateway is complete — easier and more secure for membership renewals

• A new Code of Conduct was adopted to help guide ethical and respectful participation

• Upcoming events include the Fishing Derby, August BBQ, concerts, and Rock the Dock — don’t miss out!

• New merchandise now available including bucket hats and updated property labels

• Continued efforts on lake preservation, fire safety awareness, and community updates including the new Wellness Centre in Coboconk
